Monochrome days: Visiting the dead

With a lot of black and white film and two cameras I went to the Vienna Central Cemetery back in April. Aside from the Holga 120 I brought my Nikon F80 and a 50mm lens.

I like visiting cemeteries and crypts ever since I can remember. Sometimes I forget that doing this just “for fun” does seem strange to other people. With or without a camera – cemeteries are a wonderful place, full of history and craftsmanship! So, Vienna Central Cemetery it was on a sunny Sunday in April. On another note: With this blog post I finally catch up on #12months12cameras because the Nikon F80 was my choice for April. Films I used: Ilford FP4, Fuji Acros 100.

Great photos! Excellent medium for graveyards and crypts.
Weird as it may sound, I’ve always had a fascination with graveyards, since childhood.
