I used to live in Vienna for several years and I love coming back to my old hometown. This year I’ve been in Vienna pretty often. Sometimes for work, sometimes just for fun but every time I got a camera with me. In July my companion was the Nikon FE. I got this gem after I realised that I can’t use my Lensbaby lenses with my Nikon F80. Well, I could use them but only if I meter externally. Besides, the Nikon FE is a classic and every woman should have a little black one.
Nikon FE + Lensbaby Sweet 50 + a very hot summer day in Vienna. I wasn’t sure how the images will turn out because using the Lensbaby is not always easy and the Nikon FE was unknown terrain too. Turned out the Nikon is easy to handle and you get used to the Lensbaby.
So without further ado, let’s jump to the images I shot for #12months12cameras back in July. What you see on the images are parts of the Imperial Palace (where I used to work at the library), the Palmenhaus, the Natural History Museum and the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Art). I shot another roll of film at other places in Vienna too but I don’t like how the images turned out.
