[darkroom] A room in which photographs are developed.

I’m Martina and this is my photographic diary, a bucket list, a travel journal and a place to connect with other people.

In 2018 I moved from Austria to Florida and I still own way too many cameras. Most of the time I shoot film but I also enjoy using my digital camera for instant gratification.

I like your creative experimentation…I’m an old-school film person, so I can envision all that you are trying here…perhaps I’ll try out one of your soups on some vintage FujiColor I have in storage…

Great blog and photos! Many thanks for stopping by and following my blog. 🙂

I’ve been using film since the 1970s and have my own darkroom equipment, which is stored away as I left Australia in March 2014 and still on the road. On my last long trip, I took both digital and film cameras with me. The hassle was posting the film back to Australia to have processed, scanned, and posted to my sister’s place who then uploaded the images for me so I could download the images onto my website. The processing and scanning were not good either. I only have a digital camera with me on this trip.

I still don’t understand why film is called ‘analog’ these days, it never was until digital cameras came onto the scene.
