Gosh, last blog post is from April 2018. Time for a quick update! Here’s what happened:
Last Friday I bought a bouquet of flowers – for the first time in my life. Potted plants are a normal thing to me but I’m not the kind of person to buy a bouquet. Since I had a specific photography project in mind, I went to the flower store and picked a bunch of flowers. Cut flowers are so expensive, it’s ridiculous. I paired the bouquet with a roll of black and white film and one of my Lensbaby lenses.
It was a snowless winter day when I decided to pick up a camera and a Lensbaby lens. The past few weeks I was in a photographic hiatus but one thing dragged me out of it: A Lensbaby blog circle.
I’m almost done with all the reviews for my #12months12cameras project. My weapon of choice for October was the Olympus 35RC, a small camera I found at the local thrift shop.
Before this year will be gone in a few days, I’ll quickly catch up on my #12months12cameras project!
A few weeks ago I went to the central cemetery in Vienna. I had been there before in spring and was eager to go back when fall with all its colors had arrived. I still need to get the color films developed but boy, this place is wonderful in autumn! I snapped a lot of pictures with my smartphone but of course I brought some of my analog friends. What was in my camera bag on this beautiful day?
I used to live in Vienna for several years and I love coming back to my old hometown. This year I’ve been in Vienna pretty often. Sometimes for work, sometimes just for fun but every time I got a camera with me. In July my companion was the Nikon FE. I got this gem after I realised that I can’t use my Lensbaby lenses with my Nikon F80. Well, I could use them but only if I meter externally. Besides, the Nikon FE is a classic and every woman should have a little black one.
