5 pictures – just a glimpse into what I’ve been up to the last two weeks: I managed to shoot some frames for Holgaweek, tried out a new camera and visited Vienna. Quite good for lazy old me.
I almost missed it – Holgaweek! Would have been a pity because I own several Holgas and haven’t used them for a long time now.
On a Saturday I took the train to Vienna for a relaxed day in the city. I met two friends that I haven’t seen quite a while and took a stroll around Votivkirche. The things you never do as long as you call a city your hometown I guess.
What a nice surprise on my trip to Vienna: another medium format camera found it’s way into my growing camera collection. A dear friend gave me her Lubitel 166B.
For Holgaweek I decided to use the Holga 120 GFN, the close-up lenses and the soft surround filter set. The full package. I only shot two rolls of film, one black and white and one color negative. Films are already in the lab and I’m really curious how they turned out (and also prepared for a desaster).
Back to the Lubitel 166B. I got her on a Saturday, shot the first roll on film on Sunday and developed the film in the evening. I’m very happy with the results but must admit, that I was rather lazy when it came to the location. I just stepped out of the house and shot stuff in the neighbourhood. Film was Kodak T-Max 400, developed in Tanol. For metering I used the LightMeterFree app.
More to come in a few weeks.
