Slowly, I’m catching up with all the images for my #12months12cameras project! The Konica Big Mini is one of my point and shoot cameras and was my choice for May.
The Konica Big Mini and I – it was not love at first sight but it’s a camera I already bought twice. Why? I purchased my first Big Mini at a flea market, gave her a try and decided that the camera is not bad, but not the right one for me. So why not give it away to someone who would like her more? I wrapped it up and sent it to London as part of my Emulsive Secret Santa gift. Then it got lost somewhere on the way. Great. A few months later, I went to the flea market again. Guess what I found? Another Big Mini in perfect condition! This time I kept the camera. It was a good decision because by now I really like it. Sure, she’s a little bit loud but so small and easy to use.
In May I loaded a roll of Fuji Acros 100 into the camera and gave double exposures a try. Since the Big Mini can’t do multiple exposures, I shot the roll twice. There were some crappy shots and also some single exposures but these are the MX-results:
Not too bad for a point and shoot. Big love for my Mini!
